MY STYLE

My approach and style to newborn photography is clean, timeless and minimalistic, with an emphasis on your baby as the beautiful artistic subject.

SCHEDULING

I recommend capturing newborn portraits in the first 4-12 days when your baby is very sleepy and flexible. This is the best time to capture those precious curled-up poses. While beautiful images can be captured at any stage and we work with newborns up to 6 weeks, keep in mind that once beyond those first days we will not be able to get the sleepy, curled poses. If you are sure you want specific poses, please ask about those during your consultation. As my schedule fills up in advance, please contact me as soon as possible to ensure availability.

CONSULTATION

All newborn sessions are tailored specifically to you and your baby, and include a consultation session with Megan. You will discuss ideas on style, colors, props and wardrobe. I will work closely with you and learn from your ideas and expectations to make sure that you will have a relaxed newborn photo session. Once your session is booked, I will send you a Newborn Guide with plenty of tips on how to prepare for your baby’s first photo session.

WARDROBE

My studio uses natural materials for props and accessories that are gentle to your baby. You may bring anything with you to use in the session.

YOUR NEWBORN SESSION

I love keeping newborn portraits simple without overpowering them with props or unnatural posing. All newborn sessions are done at my studio in Huntingdon, PA. It has comfortable lounge area to unwind and feed your baby. Your baby's comfort and safety is far more important than achieving a pretty pose.

RETOUCHING

Professional photo retouching is included in your newborn session. I specialize in the most comprehensive and detailed editing, and while I focus on a natural look we will edit to your liking.

DISPLAYING YOUR ART

My studio offers high quality fine art prints, gorgeous gallery wraps and elegant framed wall collections for a spectacular presentation of your most beautiful memories.
