I can only describe the experience as an absolutely amazing feeling! Overwhelmed with emotion because I had never had professional hair & makeup done, never feeling as beautiful as my friends see me. I nearly cried my mascara off, it was that emotional.
 
If I came away with anything from this experience, it is that life is too short not to take care and celebrate yourself. Self love is just as important as loving others. Ladies, do this for yourself. You will never look in the mirror the same way again. This I promise you. You will have that twinkle in your eye and the memory of this day in your heart forever.

Megan is an outstandingly talented photographer whose work is absolutely amazing. She has captured many wonderful and priceless memories of our ever-growing family throughout the past 10 years. As with all of my experiences, I was very pleased with the professional headshot session. From the professional makeup and hair, to the fine detail of nailing just the right lighting for the perfect shot, Megan was awesome. Her team was phenomenal!! Megan Photography always provides a professional atmosphere with a welcoming environment. I always feel at ease knowing that the end product will be worth more than a thousand words. When clients say they hate having their picture taken, I totally feel their pain. I've never particularly enjoyed being on the lens side of the camera, to be perfectly honest. I went out of my comfort zone for the day. And guess what? I look pretty darn good, all things considered. Having a professional who knows how to properly light and pose you will greatly accentuate your best assets. You will be amazed at the results of someone who knows how to make you look your best in pictures, and I think you would be pleased with the results too. I sure was!
So if I may encourage you my friends, please be in portraits with and for your family. It's time--it's long overdue. It really is time to stop beating yourself up about your body image and celebrate the beautiful person God created in you. Let your inner beauty shine, and let the rest to the professionals to capture who we see.  And, it will help you walk a little taller with a smile on your face and a sparkle in your heart.

I have had many beautiful professional photos taken by talented women, however I have never had a pampered experience like I did today.  It wasn’t about just getting a great photo.  I was made to feel beautiful and special.  The makeup artist exceeded my expectations, and Megan is a master at her profession.  I can’t wait to see my billboard in a few months.
